Capt Thomas “Tom” Binkley
Capt Tom will always have a presence on the Cee Ray. He left this world for another place on 10/4/2016 in an unexpected tragic event after being out with us on our annual 3-day lobster opening trip. He hopefully is diving in the heavens above. He had a great deal of expertise and knowledge of the islands. He was a one of a kind man, and great gentleman! We love you always and forever Capt Tom, our sweetheart.
Capt/DM/Instructor – Sheldon Jones
Sheldon joined us in Fall of 2014. He is an amazing, attentive dive master. He finished up his captain’s license in 2015 and also became an instructor, he was a busy guy! We’re very excited and happy to have him as part of the crew on the Cee Ray.
Dive Master/Deck Master James Dodge
James has been with us now for approximately 3 years and is a vital part of our operations when on board. He is a certified Naui Dive Master and manages the deck providing air fills and great customer service. He is also an avid hunter and can give you tips if you’re interested in learning. As well, he is also found from time to time in the galley as Sous Chef assisting Chef Kim, he himself is excellent at preparing cuisine.
Mike Waters joined us as a DM in March 2016. He has a vast amount of knowledge in saving lives as his other job he is on the Corona Fire Department as Medic/Engineer. He is also one of our best bug catchers and you’ll find him looking for bugs all through the season. He’s brought up some nice big ones to say the least.
Brad Bender received his DM Certification with instructor Lindsay Pullin in 2015 at Deep Blue Scuba & Swim Center. He is a great asset to the Cee Ray when he subs in for us on occasion. He also knows how to pickle hard boiled eggs in jalapenos quite successfully as well which is a favorite of Capt Mike’s!
Deckhand/Divemaster in Training
Sarah started with us in Spring of 2014. She is an excellent deckhand and comes to us with a huge amount of experience in the water as she is scuba certified and also a life guard. She is working on her divemaster training and plans to be done by the end of 2015.
Crew Member Kathleen Metcalf
Kathleen or better known as “KAT” joined the crew of the Cee Ray Spring of 2016. She is a certified advanced diver and has a love for the ocean that is rarely seen. She is also getting her degree as a Marine Biologist. She loves helping divers and working as a crew member for us on the Cee Ray!

Great lobster opener. The crew was great as always. I think we had the record of close to 400 bugs. can’t wait for next year.
To Captain Mike & Captain Kim & staff,
8-2-2015. What an amazing time we had on your boat. Great boat, great staff, great food, incredible dive sites! Everyone works hard to make sure you have the best diving experience possible. We will be back. If you have a physical handicap, the deck hands will assist you in anyway they can to make sure your on off the boat with ease!
Looking forward to many more dives with the Cee Ray.
Thank you everyone for one amazing day of diving
